Among the countless artisanal processes and finishes that have made Simoni Malaguti pens unique in the world, the assembly process of the Omas cap bands is among the most significant.

From the internal production of the required tools to the cutting and deburring of the rolled gold rings, to enlarging them to exact diameter at the top, to the knurling of the Greek key, to the manual assembly in a succession of rhythmic and precise movements, every step is painstakingly executed and constantly evaluated for quality and consistency.

Now again, as in the past, these elements of craft are being maintained now in Bologna.
