Omas Bologna is proud to present the second pen in the companyʼs relaunch.
Crafted from classic pearl grey celluloid material strictly adhering to the founderʼs principles, this premier writing instrument is matched with a unique nib in a combination that is beautiful to behold, sublime to use, and impossible to counterfeit.
In order to achieve this goal, during the late 1930s Armando Simioni created a unique alloy, Permanio (Patent 67849 granted 29 September 1943), which allowed for an extraordinary writing experience through the creation of an extra-flexible nib.
This masterpiece is issued in a limited and numbered edition:

According to Armando Simoni, fountain pens had to be light and balanced for all purposes, most importantly the sheer “pleasure of writing”.
Form – Twelve-faceted design, in keeping with the original OMAS silhouette.
Material – Pearl Grey Celluloid 1991 with a production process developed by Armando Simoni, jealously preserved and still used today.
Cap – Single block with inner channeling system and protective lining.
Bands – 18K rolled gold rhodium treated, engraved with the OMAS Greek motif, each applied and finished by hand.
Clip – Faceted, rhodium treated phosphor bronze, inspired by Armando Simoniʼs late 1940s design.
Barrel – In direct contact with ink; no internal tubing or modified converter.
Filling System – Traditional OMAS piston-fill, as devised by Simoni
Nib Holder – Affixed. to the barrel using tar, in accordance with OMAS tradition.
Barilotto – Ebonite.
Feeder – 6,5 mm ebonite.
Nib – Original, new old stock, OMAS PERMANIO (Patent 67849) nibs produced in 1943 by the in-house nib department, safeguarded for decades in Armando Simoni’s office safe
